Vegan fayre in Kingston
Finding great, local vegan/vegetarian restaurants is not as easy as you may think considering how many column inches our health and well being is given in general media these days. Yes, you’re probably more likely to strike gold if you’re in Central London on a daily basis where you can have your pick of new, innovative and trendy vegan café’s. But here, in sleepy South West London? Not so much.
Veggie Donburi
The Japanese kitchen is one of my favorites and I love discovering new and healthy cafés which incorporates both Japan and health under one roof. Otabé in Putney is such a place and if you ever find yourself in South West London you should try it. Their Matcha Latte is divine as is their brown rice porridge. After my lovely big bowl of vegetable donburi (rice and vegetables) I decided to create one at home which reminded me of Otabé’s version as this is a dish I could seriously have daily. Relaxing Sweet Potato and Red Lentil Curry
Love a healthy curry, me. If you have a fridge full of veg that you might not want to juice, then you are a one step away from a curry.
