We are living in interesting times. Many of us are turning our backs on conventional medicine in favour of natural remedies that are both cheaper and contain none of the nasty side effects so prevalent in synthetic pharmaceuticals. We want the food we consume to fill us up whilst also healing and preventing future illness. Nutritious Red Winter Cocktail

If green juice is a step too far for you, fret not.  One of Green Swede’s weekly juice customers professed that the green juice he was receiving on a weekly basis was ‘an acquired taste’. This has not stopped him from drinking it – after all he knows it is incredibly healthy – but he is probably more excited with his slightly sweeter carrot/orange/apple/ginger combo that is  also part of his weekly juice order. Vegan Chocolate Avocado Mousse

Looking for a quick pudding? Here it is. That this mix tastes as good as it does is just a testament to the ability of chocolate to make most things scrumptious. This is a truly HEALTHY pud too as it contains wonderful avocado (omega 3,6 and 9 fatty acids, vitamin B, magnesium and zinc, raw cacao (anti-oxidant superstar), maple syrup (anti-oxidant, zinc) and potassium laden banana.
